ELIJAH CHELEBI HA-KOHEN OF ANATOLIA

ELIJAH CHELEBI HA-KOHEN OF ANATOLIA (probably 15th century), liturgical poet. Five religious poems by him are printed in the Maḥzor Romania and in the collection of devotional poems Shirim u-Zemirot ve-Tishbaḥot (Constantinople, 1545). Menahem Tamar in the introduction to his own Azharot (Ms. Leyden 34) claims to have seen a collection of poems by Elijah.
